Porsche Supercup: Ghiretti Crowned 2025 Champion
It was a tightly contested race in the Porsche Supercup that just took place in Monza. Wouter Boerekamps claimed his first victory in the championship ahead of Alessandro Ghiretti, who delivered a solid and intelligent performance. The CLRT Schumacher Team driver managed the race flawlessly, minimizing risks and securing second place — enough to mathematically clinch the 2025 Porsche Supercup title.
The +1.841-second gap from the winner is irrelevant compared to a championship managed with great consistency and maturity by the Frenchman, who crowns a season as a true standout.

Behind him, Mathys Jaubert finished third, while other notable names include Robert De Haan in fourth and Huub Van Eijndhoven in fifth. A major incident occurred on the opening lap at the first Lesmo corner, where Van Laghen lost control after touching the grass and re-entered the track. The biggest consequence was for Felbermayr of the Proton Huber Competition Team, who got caught up in the crash.
The race was immediately red-flagged in the very first lap to recover the cars lodged under the barriers and to repair the damaged fencing. A 20 minutes stop was necessary
For Italy, noteworthy mentions go to Aldo Festante and Francesco Braschi, who finished 14th and 15th respectively.
