Onboard of GP2 Car spotted Racing on Highways
In recent days, a video has gone viral on social media showing a single seater resembling a Ferrari F1 car driving on Czech highways. Already spotted a few years ago, the car has once again made headlines online due to the curious and eye-catching nature of the incident. However, it’s not an actual Formula 1 car, but a GP2 car with a Marlboro livery reminiscent of the early 2000s Ferrari livery.
What’s new this time is the onboard footage, filmed by the lucky and daring owner while driving the machine through public roads.
Czech police attempted to stop the car
The curious fact involving a GP2 car spotted on a highway in the Czech Republic has gained significant attention on social media. Despite its resemblance to a Ferrari Formula 1 car, the vehicle is actually a GP2 model with a Marlboro livery inspired by early 2000s Ferrari F1 cars. The driver, wearing a full race suit and helmet, took the car out on public roads, attracting the attention of local authorities. Czech police attempted to identify the driver, but were unsuccessful due to the obscured identity caused by the helmet. A similar incident was previously reported back in 2019.
The car in question is a Dallara GP2 car built between 2008 and 2010, powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 engine producing around 600 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed sequential gearbox. These specs make it comparable to an actual F1 car in both looks and performance.

Despite the illegal and potentially dangerous nature of the stunt, the driver appeared to operate the vehicle cautiously, adhering to traffic rules and avoiding reckless behavior. Authorities are still seeking to identify the person responsible, emphasizing the serious risks of driving race cars on public roads.
