Hamilton, Monza? There are two things I absolutely love
Charles Leclerc had told Lewis Hamilton as soon as he signed the contract to become a Ferrari driver: arriving at Monza dressed in red is an incredible feeling. But this time, they came dressed in blue. And it didn’t take long for the Brit to experience the full emotion of Italian support, as he was welcomed with open arms in the center of Milan already on Thursday afternoon. Also because Ferrari unveiled an incredible SF25 livery
Despite Ferrari not going through its brightest moment right now, the love and encouragement from fans never fades. They’re still pushing the team to fight hard in this 2025 World Championship. Let’s not forget: despite two double retirements this year in China and the Netherlands, the Maranello team is still second in the constructors’ standings — chasing the seemingly unbeatable McLaren duo of Piastri and Norris.
Hamilton e l’amore per il gelato
“My three favorite ice cream flavors? Well, it’s hard to choose with so many out there, but I’d say ‘bacio’ — that’s chocolate with pieces of nuts. Then amarena, I love the big chunks of fruit inside, I could eat it all day. And I also like mint.”
The British driver also jokingly expressed another “concern”: how do Italians manage to stay so fit despite always eating both a first and second course? Well, when you’re in Monza, it’s clear that food often takes center stage — Formula 1 suddenly feels like a secondary topic!
The fans? They definitely didn’t go unnoticed. Lewis was genuinely impressed by how, at every single event he attended this weekend, there were always people shouting “Forza Ferrari!” — something that’s much less common in other teams. It’s all thanks to the passionate spirit Italians bring into everything they do.
Now we await the start of Free Practice 1 at 13:30, ready to hear the roar from the grandstands as Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton hit the track for the first time. And we’re pretty sure Lewis will never forget that moment either.
