The 60th Trofeo Luigi Fagioli and Gubbio Hillclimb takes place today, Sunday, August 24, 2025, in Gubbio, standing out as one of the most prestigious events in the Italian hill climb scene. The race counts as the sixth round and first final of the Italian Supersalita Championship, as well as the fifth round of the Italian Historic Hill Climb Championship (CIVSA)
📍 Course and Features of Gubbio Hillclimb
The route stretches for 4,150 meters through the scenic Bottaccione Gorge, with an elevation gain of 270 meters and an average gradient of 6.5%, finishing at Madonna della Cima. Known for its technical demands and beautiful landscape, the course is often referred to as the “Monte Carlo of Hill Climbs.”
🚗 Participants and Categories
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the event, with a record-breaking 302 entries—214 modern race cars and 88 historic vehicles. The competition also features the 37th Coppa Città di Gubbio, awarded within the CIVSA framework.

The two official race heats begin at 9:00 AM and are broadcast live on ACI Sport TV (channel 228 on Sky and 52 on Tivùsat), as well as streamed online. During the day, the first national titles for both the Supersalita and CIVSA championships will be awarded. The event is directed by Fabrizio Fondacci and Roberto Bufalino.
