Fortnite Brings F1 Teams In the new patch

The hugely popular PC and console game Fortnite is continuing to expand its already massive list of collaborations since its debut. Players will soon be able to download a new update born from the partnership between Epic Games and Formula 1. It is scheduled for the new upcoming November patch

On the 20th of the month, the game will receive a major update packed with new features, this time with a clear focus on motorsport. The official F1 account has already revealed that the racing circus will make its appearance inside Fortnite’s virtual world.

One of the main additions will be new skins dedicated to the 10 teams of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship: from Ferrari to Haas, including Alpine and Aston Martin. Players will be able to jump into battle while representing their favorite teams and drivers. It is not yet clear whether the update will also include themed gadgets, drivable vehicles, or other items.

One of the many collaborations F1 is launching with major brands like Apple and McDonald’s

Fortnite, open world game brings F1 as main theme

The game, played and purchased by hundreds of millions of users worldwide, was released in early access in 2017. From there, it kicked off an epic rise that made it, at certain moments, the most played shooter in the world. Each match starts with 100 players parachuting onto a map. They have to gather weapons and items, and fight to be the last one standing.

Every month, the development team introduces new features, environments, and themes to ensure there is always something fresh to do in this universe.

And right as the F1 circus heads to the Las Vegas night Grand Prix, the new november Fortnite update will drop. This marks a new chapter for both companies, who expressed their enthusiasm for this collaboration.

F1 is proud to become part of this gaming world.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1, said:

This innovative collaboration with Fortnite is yet another way Formula 1 is connecting with fans. And it’s appearing in places you wouldn’t expect it to. We’re obsessed with finding new and exciting ways to engage with our audiences that makes our sport sit alongside their other passions and interests.

In recent years Fortnite has collaborated with some of the biggest brands, sporting celebrities and TV series in the world. So we’re thrilled this new integration will enable players to engage with our series 365 days a year and further their love of the sport.
