F1 Dutch Grand Prix, Piastri wins, Hadjar in P3!
In this F1 Dutch Grand Prix following the summer break, McLaren continues to be the fastest on track. Lando Norris topped all three free practice sessions, before stepping aside for Oscar Piastri to take pole position. How did the others perform?
Mercedes remained a bit underwhelming, with a solid fifth place from George Russell, while Kimi Antonelli stayed in the back of the pack, struggling since FP1. The surprise of the weekend is Isac Hadjar, who secured P4 with his Racing Bull, right behind Max Verstappen and the two McLarens. Ferrari will start 6th and 7th, with Charles Leclerc expressing heavy dissatisfaction over the radio right after Q3.
The race was expected to be wet at times in the days leading up to it. For now, there are some clouds over the circuit, but no rain during this pre-race moment. Forecasts suggest a 40% chance of a damp starting grid and a 60% chance of rain during the race. We’ll see what happens.
