Ferrari F80, an extreme version of the 2025 Hypercar
If Ferrari has been struggling to “find the right setup” in Formula 1 for several years now, the same can’t be said for its road cars. On the commercial side, the brand keeps racking up record sales and collecting awards left and right. The latest recognition comes straight from the UK. And concerns two heavy hitters: the Ferrari F80 Hypercar and the 296 Speciale.
Just a few days ago, they were crowned Hypercar of the Year and Supercar of 2025, respectively. The verdict came from the iconic Top Gear magazine, which had an endless list of contenders to choose from… yet still decided to hand victory to the two Italian machines.
Ferrari F80 re-imagined as XX corse clienti Program
At that point, a question naturally came to mind: if Ferrari’s Hypercar is already stunning as it is, what would an even wilder version look like? That’s where Wider Kits steps in, creating a 3D concept that imagines an even more extreme interpretation of Maranello’s beauty.

And here it is: a possible Speciale, Pista, or even XX-program-inspired evolution of the F80. No, it’s not some kind of “red-light version” for the more adventurous enthusiasts… or maybe it is? Either way, keep your hands where we can see them and your eyes glued to the car.
The first thing that stands out is the massive fixed rear wing. Unlike the original model — whose active spoiler deploys only at high speeds — this one dominates the scene even at a standstill. It’s a clear nod to the legendary Ferrari F40 LM, built in a handful of ultra-rare units.
Yellow accents also grab attention, a clear reference to the Ferrari 499 Hypercar that won this year’s WEC World Championship over Porsche and Cadillac in the season finale in Bahrain. The triple exhaust setup and the enlarged rear grille, designed to extract excess hot air, give the F80 that extra touch of brutality needed to turn it into a true monster.
Hypercar of the year according to Top Gear UK magazine
Truth be told, Ferrari could genuinely build something like this Ferrari F80 for its exclusive client program: a track-only prototype, just like the 599XX, FXX, and FXX-K before it. Cars that, by the way, went up for auction some time ago at RM Sotheby’s, and we covered them in this article

From the outside, we can only imagine how such a beast would sound. The already ferocious 1,200-horsepower V6 would likely be further tuned and freed from road-car restrictions, allowing it to breathe — and roar — with far fewer limits. The result would probably shake the walls of Maranello itself.
Do you like the idea of a machine like this? Let us know. Ferrari pays close attention to fan feedback, and a project like this could genuinely become reality… unless they’re already working on it. But one thing’s almost certain: sooner or later, we’ll see something like this in the flesh.
