New 2025 Bentley Continental GT Supersports

The British queen, a symbol of luxury and extreme power, is about to make her return to the roads. The new V8 Bentley Continental GT Supersports is currently undergoing development tests. Ready to reaffirm its presence on the global market with a perfect blend of elegance and performance.

As tradition dictates, Bentley stays loyal to the combustion engine. This time, a V8 producing around 650 horsepower will take center stage, replacing the legendary 6.0-liter W12, now retired after a glorious career. The new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 promises no compromises in technology; instead, it offers a more compact and lighter solution that enhances driving dynamics.

An important weight Loss

Unlike the GT Speed plug-in hybrid, which delivers 770 hp but weighs about 2,459 kg, the new Supersports will completely abandon the electric unit. This strategic decision helps keep the weight below 2,000 kg, making it the lightest Bentley in decades. A true rebirth of the Gran Turismo spirit according to the Crewe-based brand.

Many innovations have been introduced to keep the car in shape and ensure optimal weight distribution. Extensive use of carbon fiber, particularly for the roof, helps reduce weight without sacrificing structural rigidity. Inside, the rear seats have been removed, a logical choice since they were previously only suitable for children or very short passengers.

Akrapovic and a new aereo kit

The package is completed by a new Akrapovič exhaust system, designed to deliver a more engaging sound while further reducing weight. And lightweight alloy wheels engineered to improve steering response and overall precision.

From an aesthetic standpoint, the new Bentley Continental GT Supersports clearly takes a step closer to the racing world. A large rear wing dominates the tail section, providing additional aerodynamic downforce. It’s likely to be an active element, capable of adjusting its angle to optimize stability and braking efficiency at high speeds.

This Bentley wont be cheap

Even though it loses the old 700-hp W12, the new V8-powered version — lighter and more agile — is expected to deliver even greater driving satisfaction, especially in terms of handling and balance.

And what about the price?
Bentley hasn’t yet revealed official figures, but early estimates are quite clear: this new jewel from Crewe should be priced at around €400,000. More details are expected by the end of the year, with first deliveries planned for early 2026.
