Rare Bmw M3 GTS Destroyed in Germany Crash
It happened last night in Germany, on the L608 road between Neumalsch and Durmersheim. The two young men involved were reportedly driving at high speed when they caused a serious accident, destroying their cars—including a rare BMW M3 GTS. According to media reports, the dynamics of the crash were relatively straightforward: while overtaking a slower vehicle, the two drivers moved into the opposite lane and made contact with each other, losing control.
The BMW suffered the worst damage, as seen in the photos—the car was completely destroyed. After losing control, both vehicles crashed into two trees at the side of the road. Emergency services and firefighters arrived on the scene to extract a 29-year-old from the wreckage of the BMW (this model was equipped with a roll cage, which may have saved his life). He was transported to the hospital in very serious condition, though his life is not in immediate danger.
The road remained closed throughout the night to allow for recovery operations and to ensure the area was safe. It was reopened to traffic during the night.

Bmw M3 GTS E92, one off 150 produced
The BMW model destroyed in Neumalsch crash was a very rare version built by the Bavarian manufacturer as a Sondermodell (special edition) of the already powerful BMW M3 E92. Under the hood, the normale M3 featured a 4.0-liter V8 engine producing around 420 horsepower.
In 2010, BMW launched the M3 GTS—a track-focused version equipped with an enlarged 4.4-liter engine delivering 450 hp, and a body structure that was lightened by approximately 200 kg. The interior was racing-inspired, featuring elements such as roll cages. Although primarily designed for track use, the GTS was street-legal and homologated for road use. Its market launch took place in the first half of 2010.
This M3 was seen as the spiritual successor to the legendary CSL (from the E46 generation), which, like the GTS, offered more power and significantly enhanced performance.
