Verstappen GT3 debut: where to watch the race
The official race debut of four-time world champion Max Verstappen GT3 car is really about to happen. It’s all set to take place this weekend on the legendary Nordschleife circuit. Verstappen to race a 718 GT4 at the Nurburgring. But surely you’ve all asked yourselves the same question, driven by the curiosity we all share: will the race be broadcast live?

For those who aren’t regular followers of global GT racing, it’s worth knowing that these championships often stream all races live on their official YouTube channels. This is done to bring fans closer to what are often considered “minor” events or categories. Yet it’s precisely this approach that helps Nürburgring 24 Hours draw an average of 100k viewers glued to their screens, with peaks reaching 300k. The passion of the fans—especially the German public, for whom the Nürburgring holds near-religious status—is truly extraordinary.

International TV channels may also decide to broadcast the race live, but we prefer to highlight the championship’s official channels to support and promote their visibility and importance: https://www.youtube.com/@VLNOFFICIAL/streams. Usually, all races of the Langstrecken Series are broadcast on this channel, and the upcoming weekend won’t be an exception. Especially with Max Verstappen making his official debut. We’re very curious to see how many unique viewers the channel will attract, but we believe it could easily surpass 2 million. Numbers like these are more than welcome for so-called “minor” championships.
One of the best features of this channel is the inclusion of LIVE onboard footage from individual drivers, offering fans a full 360-degree view of the event.
Another piece of news we’ve learned is that Auto Addiction channel will also be supporting the Dutch driver’s debut, with a livestream that should already be up and running with a countdown to the event.
We’re also sharing the link to this second channel so you can choose your preferred one: https://www.youtube.com/@AutoAddictionMedia . Founded in 2015, it features original and fascinating videos from the Touristenfahrten sessions, showcasing some of the most unique vehicles, as well as crashes and wild moments. They’ve clearly done their homework to be able to livestream the race from a unique angle that could offer an interesting perspective.
